BIKE SHIPPING
This relates to Orbea and Look bikes only:
We cannot ship any Giant, Specialized, Avanti or Sub bikes as this contravenes our dealership agreements with the respective companies.
Before bikes are shipped they are assembled to:
a/ make sure everything is there.
b/ ensure everything is working properly and there is nothing damaged.
c/ make all necessary adjustments.
The bike is then disassembled to a far lesser extent and boxed. At the destination the following assembly is required.
i/ Install the skewer in the front wheel and insert front wheel in frame (no tools required)
ii/ (On V-Brake models only) Re-attach the front brake cable in the front calliper (no tools required)
iii/ Insert handle bars in stem (5 or 6 mm allen key required depending on model)
iv/ Attach pedals (15 mm open end spanner required)
v/ Insert seat pillar (either a 5 mm allen key or no tools required)
The average person will take 10-15 min to assemble the bike at the other end including removing all packaging.
